On 08 April 2019, the country’s top Human Resource (HR) managers and Mindanao’s people managers gathered in Cagayan De Oro for a region-wide HR summit, the Mindanao HR Beat 219, to exchange insights and best practices in developing globally competitive human resources. Behind this event is the company called The Pinnacle.

Mindanao HR Beat was organized by The Pinnacle together with its local partner, Kairos HR and Business Consultancy, Inc., to help sustain the current wave of development happening in Mindanao. The speakers who graced the event came from the following organizations: Philippine Airlines, Meralco Power Academy, Teleperformance Philippines, Philippine Olympic Committee, Italpinas Development Corporation, Victory Group, National Development Authority – Region X, People Management Association of the Philippines – CDO, Lourdes College, and University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.

Mindanao is now an investment priority being the recipient of five flagship infrastructure projects under the Build, Build, Build program. Metro CDO, specifically, is envisioned to become the country’s fourth Metropolitan Center by 2050 following the National Spatial Strategy of the National Economic and Development Authority.
